Vocalist/keyboards player Randy Muller formed the band with eight other musicians in 1968 as Dynamic Soul. It wasn't until 1975 when the group recorded their first album changed their name to Brass Construction.
Their 1975 debut, produced by Jeff Lane, went platinum and contained two dancefloor anthems in "Moving" and "Changin."
