Aaron Neville : Hercules

Songs that immediately catch the right vibe, and stay there from beginning till the end, yes we like !
Aaron Neville was born on January 24, 1941, he had a career as a solo artist and as one of The Neville Brothers. Aaron was the first Neville to burn his way up the national charts : in 1966, with "Tell It Like It Is" hit number-one. Unfortunately, the label, Par-Lo, went broke before Aaron got paid.
His next project was with brother Cyril with a funk band called the Soul Machine, and in 1973 he recorded Hercules before forming The Wild Tchoupitoulas with Charles and Cyril.
Problems with the pressing of the Hercules 45 meant that the record never got a proper release; it’s most likely that they were all destroyed, since originals are almost impossible to find. However, record hunters have been known to turn up white label promos, but as they were all pressed on styrene rather than vinyl, they’re notorious for sound deterioration after just a few plays.
Jazzman records did a beautiful 7-inch reissue of this track.

    Styrene? Oh my Lord.
So what source are the preset digital copies ?
The multitrack or mixed down master recording? Would that be on 2 inch tape?
